Youth Introduction

Baptism and Membership

Baptism is a step of obedience to Christ in your spiritual journey.  Almost all churches baptize people in some way but our church only baptizes a person when they have a clear understanding of what Christ has done for them and have committed their lives to Him.  We practise Baptism by immersion.  Baptism then is public witness of a person's faith in Christ.  Baptisms are always a great time of celebration in the life of our congregation.
Classes related to Baptism will provide a time to discuss this important step.   Classes are offered 2 or 3 times a year.

If you are interested or want to have more information about being baptized please contact us!   This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

As a church family we encourage all regular attendees to publicly acknowledge their commitment to the church through formal membership.  Our church functions by congregational government which means that the members make the ultimate decisions regarding the direction of our church.   Membership is very important.   If a person has not been baptized, and is a believer who is interested in membership, we ask them to consider that important step in their faith journey - baptism and attend the Baptism classes (see above).  If they have already been baptized as a believer then we require the person to take the membership classes.  The classes gives each person lots of great information regarding our church and what it means to be a part of our church.  Classes are offered 2 or 3 times a year.
